Julianna O’Clair is a news intern who covers a variety of beats, from breaking news to the best local music and art. She has written for Denver Westword, Out Front Magazine, Denver Life Magazine and the Recording Academy. Julianna is a University of Denver graduate with degrees in journalism and music performance and is passionate about uplifting marginalized voices and bringing diverse perspectives to mainstream media. When she’s not writing, she’s playing the flute, baking muffins, or cuddling with her cat.
