Lila Jane Lynn OBITUARY

Lila was the daughter of Randall and Lillian Lynn of Edgewater. Mr. Lynn was a well-known music teacher in the Denver area, and Mrs. Lynn wrote a column in the Jefferson Sentinel newspaper. Lila is survived by two sisters, two brothers, and many nieces, nephews, their children, and grandchildren.

Lila graduated from Edgewater High School in 1951. She possessed a beautiful singing voice, and sang in many musical events throughout the city during the 1950’s. She became a flight attendant for Western Airlines and later for Delta Airlines when the two companies merged. All totaled, she spent over 40 years traveling the world. During that time, she was head of the flight attendant’s division of the airline pilot’s union. In those years, she negotiated contracts with company lawyers, where many beneficial rules were instituted.

Funeral services will be held at Olinger’s Mortuary at Crown Hill Cemetery on Friday, September 20, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. with burial following at 2:00 p.m.
