Lara Hall OBITUARY

Lara Diane Hall, 54, passed away on August 12, 2024, in Johnstown, Colorado. Born on December 9, 1969, in Racine, Wisconsin, she was the beloved daughter of Martha Louise Hall (nee Dawson) and Henry Howard Hall, both of whom preceded her in death. She is survived by her brother, Kevin Scott Hall, her close friend Yolanda Morris, her three furry ‘babies’, Floyd, Grisham, and Lara Junior, and numerous family and friends, all who will miss her beautiful smile and energizing laugh.

In 1993, Lara received a BFA in music from the University of Wisconsin at Stevens Point. For over 20 years, Lara dedicated her life to the care of animals as a veterinarian technician and had a special place in her heart for horses. However, when the stress of the work became too much, she looked for an alternative path which led her to a life changing discovery – drumming. In 2020 she formed Smiling Circles as a drum circle facilitator. Her love of music had come full circle. She was truly passionate about this new calling in her life and was looking forward to bringing drumming to the veterinarian world.

Horan & McConaty in Centennial, Colorado, is assisting the family during this time. Details regarding memorial services will be announced at a later date.
