UPDATED:

Parts of the east garage at Denver International Airport will be closed at different times Aug. 12 through Sept. 15 as workers power wash and restripe the structure.

The work, to be done in phases, will affect specific sections for about a week at a time. Similar work that prompted a partial closure of the west garage is scheduled to end Aug. 11.

When work is underway, certain sections of the east garage will be closed to parking, but other areas will remain open. The closure schedule for the east garage is:

Phase 1: Aug. 12-18, Rows N-R, all levels
Phase 2: Aug. 19-25, Rows J-M, all levels
Phase 3: Aug. 26-30, Rows E-H, all levels (Levels 5-3 will be open starting August 29. Only Level 1 will remain closed through August 31).
Break for Labor Day Holiday: Aug. 31 – Sept. 8
Phase 4: Sept. 9-15, Rows A-D, all levels.

All vehicles must be cleared from the area scheduled for cleaning. Signs will be posted three weeks in advance to alert people. Any vehicles parked in the area will be relocated to the surface lot adjacent to the southwest corner of the east garage.
