This year’s Juneteenth Parade marched through Denver’s Five Points neighborhood to kick off the two-day Juneteenth Music Festival in celebration of the day that African Americans in Texas learned of their freedom, two years after the 1863 signing of the Emancipation Proclamation, as seen on Saturday, June 15, 2024, in Denver, Colorado.
