Denver police on Thursday issued a Medina alert for a gray 2011 Dodge Avenger involved in a fatal hit-and-run in the Barnum neighborhood on Aug. 3.
The Dodge was last seen around noon Wednesday near First Avenue and Newton Street with a temporary Colorado license plate 6338564, Denver police said in an alert.
The vehicle was involved in a crash that killed 31-year-old Walter Salcido-Luna near Federal Boulevard and First Avenue, according to the Denver Office of the Medical Examiner.
Salcido-Luna was on a motorcycle when he was involved in a crash with another vehicle and was ejected. He was then struck by the Dodge, according to Denver police.
He died from multiple blunt force injuries, according to the medical examiner.
